In order to ensure the safety of the church staff, members, and Child Enrichment children, the buildings on campus are locked during the week and after hours. Please ring the buzzer found to the left of the Education Building entrance (building to the right of the Sanctuary) and a church staff member will grant you access to building. Additionally, all those visiting the campus during the week are asked to sign in at the church office. This ensures that both the church staff and emergency services are aware of anyone that might be on campus in the event of an emergency.

  • First United Methodist Church is blessed to have wonderful facilities to support its ministries and needs of the congregation.

Our pastoral staff is dedicated to helping you during this time of grief and loss. When there is a death, please contact either of the pastors for assistance in arranging a funeral or graveside service. Additionally, services may be held in any of the worship spaces on campus.

The Columbarium was created to provide an area on the church campus for the inurnment of the cremated remains of deceased members and their relatives. A memorial service for the inurnment of cremated remains will be designed by the pastoral staff in consultation with the deceased's family. Inurnment may take place at the time of the service or at another time that is in keeping with the needs of the family. Each ninche is designed for the cremated remains of two (2) people. Plaques affixed to niches are of uniform size, type, and composition prescribed by the church and will be obtained by the church at the family's expense.

To purchase a niche or to obtain more information regarding the columbarium, contact Amy Stephenson: 336-889-4429.
