Inaugural Fundraiser supporting Child Enrichment

All proceeds will directly benefit the Child Enrichment ministry of First UMC, enhancing our program and curriculum, and guaranteeing the best teachers and tools to foster the amazing program that is CE.
*Due to inclement weather, the Gather & Give fundraiser has been postponed until Friday, February 28. All dinner and auction tickets will be honored. Contact the CE office with questions/concerns.
The Evening’s Events
Dinner | 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Dinner will be served from 5:30 to 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. The menu includes Mrs. Myer’s famous homemade chicken pie, salad, and homemade dessert from the ladies of First UMC. Take-out is also available. Meals are available for the suggested donation of $10 per person or $25 for a family of two adults and up to three children.
Please pre-order your dinner (as well as any take-out orders) via the button below by no later than Friday, 2/14.
Silent Auction Drawing | 6:45-7:00 p.m.
During the dinner hour, you are invited to participate in a silent auction with fabulous items and services from in and around the High Point area. A growing list can be found here. The silent auction will be closed at 6:45 and all winners will be announced at 7:00 p.m.
Grand Prize Drawing | Available for a suggested donation of $1 are tickets for entry into the drawing for this year’s Grand Prize: a $500 Visa Gift Card! To acquire tickets, click the button below. Tickets will also be available via the ticket booth in the Fellowship Hall during the dinner hour.
Quarter Auction | In addition to our Silent Auction, the Quarter Auction will feature specialty baskets from local businesses, missions, ministries, and more. Tickets for the Quarter Auction are 25 cents each and will be available at the ticket booth in the Fellowship Hall during the dinner hour. Each basket will have a bucket for you to drop your desired amount of quarter tickets into, and winners will be announced at 7:00 p.m.
T-Shirt Booth
Throughout the evening, you are encouraged to visit The Posh Bee t-shirt booth. The boutique will be offering custom screen print t-shirts for both children and adults for the suggested donation of $15/child and $20/adult. Click here for examples of what will be available. 100% of all sales will be donated to Child Enrichment.
