Child Enrichment is a ministry of First United Methodist Church that strives to provide a happy, Christian environment in which children can grow physically, socially, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually - all while having fun!
The CE program offers Infant through Transitional Kindergarten half-day classes designed to keep kids on track.
In a child-centered environment, the child has an opportunity to grow and develop at their own pace, encouraged and guided by warm, loving adults.

We are a half-day program from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday from September through May.

Classes range from infants (3 months) through Transitional Kindergarten (5-year-olds). A child must be of the age of the class in which they wish to enroll on or before August 31.

Tuition for the 2022-2023 school year s as follows:
3 day class (all ages): $260/month
5 day class (all ages): $340/month
$75 non-refundable registration fee per child; $55 for each additional child in family.
One-time activity fee, price dependent on class.
A tuition scholarship program is available to qualifying families.

Child Enrichment proudly joins Harris Teeter's Together in Education program to help raise funds for our school. It's easy and it's FREE! Simply give the cashier our code, 4990, along with your VIC card when you check out, and your card will be linked for the entire school year. That's it! This program does not interfere with your VIC savings or cost you any money!
Once your card is linked, Child Enrichment will receive a percentage of your Harris Teeter brand (Harris Teeter, H.T. Traders, Harris Teeter Organics, HT Farmers Market, and purchases in the HT Pharmacy) purchases credited back to the school's account.

CE is blessed to have the best teachers with big hearts for “keeping kids on track” with learning and fun.

Our students have Chapel weekly where they learn about Jesus and the Bible. Each Advent they enjoy dressing up as the Nativity characters as they learn the Christmas story.
There are two separate playgrounds on campus that allow for age-appropriate, safe outdoor play. On rainy days, the children play in the indoor playroom full of climbing equipment and fun vehicles.
Our CE teachers are always sure to make learning fun! There are several themed weeks throughout the year, like Lego Week, Cowboy Week, Farm Week, Dr. Seuss Week, and water play when the weather is nice.
Our friends also enjoy weekly music classes where they learn instruments and sing songs that they perform during the Christmas program and end-of-year celebrations.
Most importantly, our children build wonderful relationships with each other and their teachers. CE friendships last a lifetime!
