Triad Area Handbell Festival

Calling all Handbell Choirs! You’re invited to a day of musical fun!

Under the direction of Bruce Hartgrove, clinician, and organized by Sonja Tomlinson, Director of Handbells at First FUMC of High Point, the festival will gather multigenerational Handbell choirs from across the Triad for a full day of ringing.

Prior to the festival, each choir will receive handbell music to practice with their group. We will come together at the festival to fine-tune and polish each piece, sharing skills and techniques along the way. At the end of the day, in addition to each choir having beautiful pieces prepared for the upcoming holiday season (along with pieces to enhance any worship service!), the group will host a concert open to the public to perform all they've mastered.

The Details

WHO: All Triad area handbell groups are invited. Please register by no later than September 1.

WHEN: Saturday, October 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Lunch is provided with registration! The concert will begin at 4:00 p.m.

WHERE: First Baptist Church in High Point; 405 N Main Street
